Step into the glamorous world of burlesque with our Bubble Dance Basics class! This playful and enchanting class will introduce you to the art of classic burlesque bubble dancing, inspired by the legendary performances of icons like Sally Rand. Bubble balloons will be provided by Miss Brawling Beauty to practice with.
You'll learn:
✨ Graceful movements and fluid posing
✨ Techniques for working with large props (such as oversized balloons or feather-light bubbles)
✨ Flirty, elegant choreography that captures the essence of vintage burlesque
✨ Confidence-building stage presence and character development
No prior dance experience is needed—just bring your curiosity, creativity, and a touch of sparkle! Perfect for performers looking to add a dreamy, ethereal flair to their repertoire or beginners eager to explore the magic of burlesque.
What to Wear:
●Choose clothing and shoes that make you feel comfortable and sexy, while allowing freedom of movement. Form-fitting attire is encouraged to help you see the lines of your body as you perform.
●Character/ballroom shoes or comfy heels (no taller than 4", and no platforms). Wear flats or go barefoot. Whatever is easier for you.
Come ready to twirl, tease, and bubble with delight!
This class is offered to all. The School of Striptease teaches using the motto, "all bodies are burlesque bodies."
This course is scheduled to be taught in-person.
