Note from teacher:
The average time used to complete this project is 1-2 hours from start, (tracing the template and cutting it out), to finish.
All materials including but not limited to: felt, embroidery floss, stuffing (poly-fill), fabric pens, design templates, keychain hardware, scissors, and a needle will be provided. If patrons wish to have specific colors, it is recommended they purchase the materials, (felt and embroidery floss), beforehand.
During this class I will teach how to select an appropriate length of embroidery floss, separate the strands and stitch different stitches. The stitches taught will include but is not limited to:
-Blanket stitch: used for decorative borders and holding to pieces of fabric together.
-Running stitch: most versatile stitch technique used in embroidery - often for both decorations and securing fabric to another piece.
