Description

May is historic preservation month, and we've lined up a program to celebrate and learn about the iconic structures in Stevens Point that have defined our community through the ages. This presentation by PCHS Executive Director John Harry will lead you through the development of Stevens Point's built environment and tell the stories of the people that created the city we know today. You'll hear about well known structures like the Opera House/Fox Theatre, UWSP's Old Main, various places of worship, and, of course, Point Brewery! You'll also learn the history about some of the city's most endangered buildings, and those that didn't make it to present day.

This program starts at 7pm on Tuesday, May 14th and is one of your first chances to see inside the newest Stevens Point landmark, Point Brewery's new taproom.

Tickets are $5 for members, $8 for non-members.

This program has been generously sponsored by Chris Doubek.
