Description

📅 November 19th | ⏰ 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM | 📍 UTSA Downtown Campus, Monterey Building, Monterey Gallery Space
At this charrette, you’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, artists, and other students to further develop the schematic design for the bus stop and shade structure. This hands-on session will build on ideas from our previous charrette as we continue moving toward project implementation.

About the Project:
Circular San Antonio, in partnership with VIA and the City of San Antonio's Office of Sustainability, is leading this effort to design a bus stop and shade structure utilizing reclaimed materials. The project serves as a model for sustainable design and circular resource use, and will set a precedent for reducing the urban heat island effect in public spaces.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a real-world project that will impact the San Antonio community. Your participation will help shape the final design, which will be constructed within the next 12 months.

We look forward to seeing you there and continuing this exciting collaboration!
