National Indigenous Peoples Day is a day for all Canadians to join in a unity of togetherness as we recognize and celebrate the diverse cultures, heritage and achievements of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis in Canada.
Please note: the Indigenous Men's Handgames Tournaments celebrating National Indigenous People Day and Sports Day 3 on 3 Basketball, Cornhole, Pickleball Tournaments have been moved to October 2025!

Entertainment & Kidz Zone
Did you know that June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada?
Thanks to our generous support of our sponsors, we invite you to stay for the entire day and take part in the festivities such as the interactive FREE Kidz Zone, Family Sports activities, Neighbourhood Bingo, Shop the Solstice Rays Market. Plus bring down a lawn chair or picnic blanket and be honoured to watch as we celebrate years of traditions in the month of June with special guest, Indigenous Drumming/Dancing, local artist and performance on the entertainment stage.
How to Participate:
Spectators: enter for free, and there will be a seating area set up, entertainment, vendors, concessions, special guests and a kids zone. Registration for entry is FREE thanks to our generous Sponsors, Partners Business/Corporate Participations.
The Great Start to the Day (Pancake Breakfast Attendees): On Saturday, join us for our FREE Pancake Breakfast from 10AM - NOON. Walk-Ins are welcome or pre-register to help us ensure we have enough food for everyone. New~ not only does our breakfast include the Canadian staples such as pancake, eggs, toast, bacon we will also be including Indigenous breakfast items, vegetarian and gluten-friendly options.

Sponsorship:To feed the local community and festival attendees, we are in need of 6-8 Business Sponsored Pancake Breakfast Stations tents. To stir in more fun for everyone, you'll also be able to create your own signature business pancake to go along with the fluffy favourite; making your station an excellent team building event with friendly competition between other pavilions. June 9, is the last day to have your business logo included on the swag bags. Registration closes June 4, 2025 for Pancake Breakfast Sponsorship in Saskatoon and June 6, 2025 in Edmonton

The Affordable Housing Conference (AHC) marks a new innovation to better serve and represent city centers, urban & rural Indigenous & Black Communities locally, nationally and internationally. Through project creations, conferences, meetings, team building events we create professional meeting points to ensure that key industry challenges and opportunities are addressed in an inclusive, professional and sustainable environment.
The Affordable Housing Conference is presented by IDEAS HC. An organization which leads the next wave in accelerating affordable housing and vital community resources infrastructures for Indigenous, Black Communities, Students, Seniors, Women & Children, those at risk of homelessness, the unhouse, underserved population that require need of newer and sustainable buildings to better support the well-being one-self and/or the people in their communities.
Whether working independently or together, our goal is to honour culture & traditions while including new adaptations focused on sustainability and priority that effectively address the needs of the diverse populations we serve by building back better for current & future generations to thrive.
