Description

In a time of isolation, quarantine and social distancing, we all have felt a sense of extended cabin fever. This winter, Historic Richmond Town hosts a series of workshops designed to stave off the winter doldrums.

Join historic interpreters from the Education department for a Paper Marbling Workshop on March 6.  Learn about the history of this art form with examples in our museum collection, and make your own marbled paper prints to take home with you!

Workshops are available as group slots at scheduled times.

Tickets are $50 for a group of up to 6 people. Each participant will make 3 prints to take home.

This workshop is recommended for kids age 7 and up.

The Staten Island Historical Society at Historic Richmond Town works to create opportunities for the public to explore the diversity of the American experience, especially that of Staten Island and its neighboring communities from the colonial period to the present. We preserve and present centuries of American life through the efforts of ordinary people, from every background, who worked to build an extraordinary country.
