Description
Cacao Ceremony: A Heart-Opening Journey Within
This ceremony is a sacred pause; a moment to return to yourself, to slow down, and to soften. Together, we will sip warm ceremonial cacao in mindful presence, supported by grounding meditation, gentle sound, journalling, and heartfelt intention setting.
Cacao is more than a drink – it is a soul medicine that invites us to listen deeply, feel fully, and reconnect with our truest essence. In this held and nurturing space, you are invited to release what no longer serves and welcome in clarity, connection, and peace.
Come as you are. All parts of you are welcome.

Potential risks & considerations of drinking Ceremonial Cacao
1. Medication Interactions
Antidepressants (especially MAOIs or SSRIs):
Cacao contains tyramine and tryptophan, and it naturally boosts serotonin. Combined with certain antidepressants, this can potentially lead to serotonin syndrome (a very rare but serious condition).
Check with your doctor if you're on medication for mood, anxiety, or depression.
2. Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
While small amounts of cacao are generally safe, ceremonial doses (25–42g or more) are not recommended during pregnancy due to caffeine content and the vasodilating effect (which increases blood flow).
Advise pregnant or breastfeeding women to consult with their healthcare provider and opt for a reduced dose or herbal alternative.
3. Heart Conditions & High Blood Pressure
Cacao is a vasodilator – it increases blood flow and can slightly raise heart rate and lower blood pressure.
People with serious cardiovascular conditions should consult a medical professional before consuming.
4. Caffeine Sensitivity
While lower than coffee, cacao does contain theobromine (a gentler stimulant)
