Description

Known for her powerhouse vocal performances, Caitlin Krisko and The Broadcast is a psychedelic soul rock band hailing from Asheville, North Carolina. Krisko's electrified and unforgettable performances led to her working with members of Tedeschi Trucks Band and David Bowie's Blackstar Band on her newest studio album Lost My Sight. Krisko captivates her audiences, bringing the perfect blend of power and vulnerability throughout her shows. With a mix of soul, psychedelia, and blues rock arrangements, Caitlin Krisko and The Broadcast has shared stages with Mavis Staples, the late Charles Bradley, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Turkuaz, Marcus King, Keller Williams, Leftover Salmon, and Bettye LaVette among others.

The Broadcast is an Americana/Soul band from Asheville, NC composed of Caitlin Krisko (vocals), Aaron Austin (guitar), Mike Runyon (keys), William Seymour (bass), Tyler Housholder (percussion), and Michael W. Davis (drums). Their independently released debut, Dodge The Arrow, was recorded in 2013 at Asheville’s famed Echo Mountain Studio with LA producer, Eric “Mixerman” Sarafin. It went on to sell over 15,000 copies, ranked as high as #4 on the college radio charts, and earned them “Best New Artist” and runner up for “Album of the Year” from Homegrown Music Network. Their sophomore full-length album, From The Horizon, is due out June 17, 2016. David Dye and Joe Kendrick premiered "On The Edge", the first single from the new album on World Cafe's Sense of Place[1] on March 31, 2016.

Plus, Paul Kares will get them the tools like musical instruments, knives, etc for the students who can’t afford them and will donate to school systems that need equipment for their classrooms.
