Experienced baker Sally Dellar, of Crumbs & Doilies & the popular Cupcake Jemma Youtube Channel, reveals advanced techniques for piping and cake decorating to help you create a show-stopping cake.

Every student is given artistic licence to make your cake unique to you. We will provide a pre-baked sponge so you can focus on getting creative. 

Learn key skills and professional techniques including:

  • Filling and preparing sponges.
  • Top coating with buttercream.
  • How to add a drip in your choice of colour.
  • Piping techniques.

Please note this is a decorating class only. All sponges and icings/toppings will be provided for you.

Sally began her baking career at the esteemed London bakery Crumbs & Doilies 15 years ago, creating delicious treats that gained huge acclaim through their online presence. Sally has also been a fixture on the company’s hugely successful YouTube channel Cupcake Jemma, where she creates fool-proof recipe videos every week with her 2 co-hosts. For the last 2 years Sally has been teaching baking and cake decorating classes to the public and loves nothing more than bringing people together in a safe and inclusive environment to share her experience and help others to learn new skills.
