Calum Graham:
Calum Graham is an internationally acclaimed fingerstyle guitarist, songwriter, and composer whose innovative approach to acoustic guitar has captivated audiences around the world.
He began playing guitar at 13, learning from his father, and made history at 17 by winning the 2010 Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Competition. His early success led to performances at both the Vancouver and London Olympics, launching a career defined by creativity, technical mastery, and a distinctive musical voice.
Calum’s sound is a captivating blend of virtuosic fingerstyle guitar, soulful vocals, intricate harmonies, and cinematic arrangements. His music moves effortlessly between intimate, emotionally charged melodies and expansive, richly layered compositions, often drawing on elements of folk, jazz, pop, and contemporary instrumental music. Whether playing solo or with collaborators, he has a remarkable ability to make the guitar sound like an entire ensemble.
Since then, Calum has released nine studio albums, collaborated with renowned artists including Don Ross, Antoine Dufour, and Michael Manring, and toured extensively across North America, Australia, and beyond. He is also a member of Tripliciti, a trio with fellow guitar virtuosos Andy McKee and Trevor Gordon Hall.
Known for his expressive playing, inventive arrangements, and ability to push the boundaries of contemporary acoustic guitar, Calum brings a rare combination of technical brilliance and genuine emotional depth to every performance.
