Description

 Session A: Monday, June 13th – Friday, June 17th, 9 a.m. – Noon each day

 Session B: Monday, July 25th - Friday, July 29th. 9 a.m. - Noon each day

For Ages 8-12

Description: Using the lives of George and Betty Washington as guides, campers explore colonial society before and during the American Revolution. Through hands-on activities like a mock archaeological dig, surveying hike, dancing lessons, militia drill and more, campers learn how George, Betty, and other colonists saw themselves as British and examine the events that ultimately led them to adopt a new American identity. Campers will learn about the sacrifices of being a patriot and the challenges of being a loyalist. Then determine which side they might have stood for if they lived in colonial Virginia.

Cost:  $175.00 per camper plus processing fees. Advance ticket purchase required, as program space is limited. Sign-up deadline is 4 p.m., Tuesday, July 12th.

Please note our refund policy regarding camp: 2+ weeks before, 90% refund (10% administration fee). 2 weeks before, 50% refund. 1 week before, 0% refund.

COVID Update: At this time, masks are NOT required.  Should this change, all registered participants/adults contacts will be notified.
