About our Games
We offer open play on Mondays from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. Beginners and experienced players are welcome – however, this is not a class; everyone should be able to play on their own. (and we’ll gladly help if you have questions!) Games are free for members and $10 for non-members.
How Registration Works
- Pre-registration is required, and space is limited to 32 people. We reserve 20 spots for CRS members and 12 spots for non-members.
- Registration opens on Wednesday at 9 AM for play on the following Monday. You must register by Friday at 12:00 PM if you wish to play that week.
- We will email everyone who has signed up for Canasta a reminder on Wednesday mornings when registration is open.
- We will make tables, or you can indicate the names of people you would like to play with when you register.

Canasta at CRS is coordinated by Bunny Shankman.
You may request a refund by 12:00pm on the Friday before the game. All requests must be in writing to crs@crsnyc.org.
