Description

Learn about wax, color and fragrance in this candlemaking class. We'll go over the tools of the trade, what to (and what not to) do, and some helpful hints and tips to get you started in your journey. You'll walk away with a few handmade candles of your very own once all is said and done. Candles take a while to cool, so plan on hanging out for a while after class, or feel free to arrange pick up at a later time. Ages 16+. Under 16 may be accompanied by an adult.

Craftopia is an arts and craft studio dedicated to expanding access to arts and crafts in our community regardless of age, experience or financial abilities.

We realize that there is truly a lack of opportunities to explore different art and craft styles - especially for adults - in our area. We hope to create a safe space where the community can come together to explore different forms and mediums and connect with other creatives.

We look forward to providing our community with group classes, individual/private lessons, art and craft parties, and a fun co-working space in our new location. This location also allows us to have a retail shop to showcase local artist's creations for sale.
