Description

CANOPY: Forests + Markets + Society is a two and a half-day event, beginning with an evening reception on September 15, conference sessions and evening reception on September 16, and conference sessions on September 17. This year’s conference will bring executives, investors, asset managers, landowners, and conservationists to Portland to examine the drivers, trends, and impacts of institutional timberland investing.  CANOPY: Forests + Markets + Society offers ample networking and learning opportunities, including continuing education credits for appraisers, attorneys, foresters, and CPAs.

 

The Forest Products Forum, which runs just prior to CANOPY: Forests + Markets + Society on September 15, features expert presentations from Forest Economic Advisors and guest speakers on wood markets.

 

Please note registration for "FP Forum - ONLY" does not include entry to opening reception on September 15. All other registration options include entry to the opening reception.

Registration Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • All payments are due prior to the event.

  • Full refund available with written notification of cancellation received before August 27, 2026.

  • 60% refund and a copy of the conference proceedings with written notification of cancellation received before September 10, 2026.

  • Substitutions will be accepted. Please contact Vivian Bui at vbui@worldforestry.org with substitution details.

  • Fees will not be refunded in case of no-show.

  • Non-payment does not constitute cancellation.
