Description
Enter spring with a joyous celebration of Cape Cod’s beautiful birds as popular local naturalist Phil Kyle leads a special seasonal Silver Science presentation.
Using images and sound, Phil will take the audience through how to identify the many colorful species that travel to the area to feed and nest in our salt marshes and forests. He’ll also give advice on where to find them, and how to attract favorites like the hummingbird to your yard.
“With so many incredible birds coming here, from little warblers to giant ospreys, spring is one of the best times to explore the Cape,” said Phil. “The season officially starts the day after the presentation, so come along and we’ll get you set up with all the information you need to make the most of this wonderful time for birders.”
Phil Kyle has led birding trips for more than 20 years. Currently he volunteers at the Wellfleet Bay Audubon Sanctuary in the summers as a Naturalist/Educator and is a winter docent at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History.
