The Twin Cities Chapter of the CFMA is a vibrant chapter with more than 200 members and serves the construction community throughout the state of Minnesota. We have monthly meetings, social events, an annual golf tournament and jobsite tours. Our events are open to members and non-members alike. Please join the CFMA Twin Cities as we tour one of Gardner Builders’ job sites! Afterwards,
we will host a happy hour on the shores of Lake Minnetonka just a few miles away. Here is

The Cargill project spans over 400,000 square feet of upgrades, designed to enhance both
guest experience and employee collaboration. Through a design-build approach, teams
tackle challenges like space optimization, energy efficiency, and logistical improvements with
innovative, cost-effective solutions. Key features include seamless integration of lighting,
temperature, and acoustics to create a sustainable, adaptable environment.
Sustainability is central to the project, with efforts to reduce landfill waste by reusing materials
and partnering with manufacturers to re-purpose carpet tiles. The team is partnering with
local businesses to help with these sustainable initiatives, including SDDI Signs, Imagin
Studios, Hennepin Made, and Frame Minnesota, among many others. The design also
fosters a welcoming workplace culture, encouraging collaboration and employee connection.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for the site visit. If you have your own
PPE, please bring it! This includes hard hat, vest, safety glasses, and gloves. Please avoid
loose fitting clothing. Closed-toed shoes are required (boots preferred). Each person will
need to bring their driver’s license with them as they may need it for check in.
