Description

This Yom Ha'atzmaut, join National Jewish Book Award winner Joel Chasnoff (co-author of Balaboosta and Israel 201) for a hands-on Israeli salad-making workshop.

We'll whip up three vibrant, fresh favorites: fatoush, minty cherry tomato salad, and a classic Israeli salad (with a twist) — all while learning how Israel, despite its small size, has become a culinary gem, shaped by its unique geography, soil, and location at the crossroads of the Mediterranean and Middle East.

Best of all? We’ll feast on our creations together, and you’ll head home with the recipes.

Don’t miss out—let’s get chopping! B’teiavon!

Designed for adults and teens ages 14 and up.

This program is sponsored by Stephen Wise Free Synagogue's Israel Committee, with generous support from the Schwartz Israel Fund.
