Description

As Minnesota’s leading public policy organization, Center of the American Experiment is proud to lead our state’s year-long celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Professor David Azerrad of Hillsdale College will kick off our celebration with a speech about his own experience as a naturalized citizen from Canada titled, "The Indomitable American Spirit."

Azerrad is an Assistant Professor and Research Fellow in the Graduate School of Government at Hillsdale College. Hillsdale is partnering with the White House Salute to America 250 Task Force on a video series celebrating the remarkable story of American Independence. Join us to hear Professor Azerrad’s story to celebrate America and learn how we can do our part to “keep” the republic going for another 250 years.
