Description

To celebrate Women’s History Month, the Junior League of Rhode Island and the Rhode Island Historical Society invite you to a special event that will highlight the role of women in Rhode Island over the past 100 years and the opportunities for the future. 

Select materials from the recent Junior League of Rhode Island collection donated to the Rhode Island Historical Society will be on display. 

A brief speaking program on the Junior League’s history in Rhode Island, comments on the state of women and girls in RI today by Dana Borrelli-Murray, CEO of Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England, and the outlook for the next 100 years of community impact.

A cash bar and light hors d'oeuvres will be available. 

A handicap-accessible entrance is available through the driveway of the Aldrich House. Please call (401) 331-8575 ext. 134 if you plan to use this entrance.
