Description
The Battle of the Bands is a city-wide high school music competition created to give young musicians from across the greater Edmonton area a real stage, a real audience and a real opportunity to shine.
This first ever event brings together talented high school bands who are passionate about musical performance — from rock and pop, to alternative, indie and beyond. Each band will perform live in front of an audience and a panel of judges, competing for top honors, prizes and of course — the chance to make memories with their friends.
More than just a competition — ‘Battle of the Bands’ is a celebration of youth creativity, collaboration and live music. It provides students with a valuable performance experience in a professional setting by helping them to build confidence, stage presence and real-world skills that will carry them into their future endeavors.
