Description
Join us for a special Día de los Muertos workshop honoring tradition, memory, and art.
In this hands-on class, you will create a ceramic altar using black, orange and white clays. Our instructors will guide you through the handbuilding process, encouraging personal expression in each piece.
We're proud to donate 20% of proceeds from this workshop to Museo de las Americas.
Saturday, November 1, 1:00-3:00pm.
Location: Community Clay, 3349 Blake Street
Spaces are limited. This is a beginner-friendly workshop! No experience needed, just come ready to play with clay. You will be sculpting using your hands and a variety of tools to form the clay, NOT a pottery wheel.
Adults only. Community Clay is a working studio. Children may not participate or observe. Read our FAQs.
