This movement based class focuses on teaching you all the basics and beyond to tease and taunt using a chair!
Students will meet once a week at Pole Fitness Studio on Mondays from March 16th through April 20th. Class culminates in a group performance at the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s fundraising show, Tease: A Burlesque Revue at The Space on April 25th. Pole Fitness Studio is providing a dance studio for this class. Any questions should be directed to buttercup@burlesquehall.com
Buttercup is a Las Vegas based burlesque performer, instructor and costumer. She incorporates traditional burlesque elements such as bump & grind, feather fan and boa work into her routines which embody beauty and eroticism with light-hearted flair. She's featured in Spiegelworld's Opium and Brian Newman After Dark on the Las Vegas Strip.
This class is offered to all. The School of Striptease teaches using the motto, "all bodies are burlesque bodies."
Chairs will be supplied for class.
Students are responsible to pay for any missed classes. NO DROPINS. Students must commit to full 6 week course. No refunds for missed classes. All sales are final. No admittance for missed payments. This course is scheduled to be taught in-person. The Burlesque Hall of Fame reserves the right to teach this course virtually, at its discretion. Furthermore, classes may be recorded via Zoom for any students who may need to miss a class.
