Description
Character Cabaret is a fun romp exploring sensuality through movement while playing a burlesque character onstage.
Students will meet once a week at the Burlesque Hall of Fame's School of Striptease on Mondays from September 12th through October 10th. Class culminates in a group performance at the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s fundraising show, Tease: A Burlesque Revue at The Space. Students will be paid a stipend for their participation in the show.
Props and embellishments for costumes will be provided for use in class and during performance. Students will be responsible for acquiring costume bases which will be discussed in class.
This class is offered to all. The School of Striptease teaches using the motto, "all bodies are burlesque bodies."
Students are responsible to pay for any missed classes. NO DROPINS. Students must commit to full 5 week course. No refunds for missed classes. All sales are final. No admittance for missed payments. This course is scheduled to be taught in-person. The Burlesque Hall of Fame reserves the right to teach this course virtually, at its discretion. Furthermore, classes may be recorded via Zoom for any students who may need to miss a class.
No refunds after September 5th.
