Step into a night of rhythm, revival, and radiant energy as Afro-beat band Charles Haynes and the Tabernacle bring to the stage a transformative celebration of life and the healing power of music. Led by visionary drummer and bandleader Charles Haynes, this electrifying ensemble bridges Afrobeat, Jazz, Gospel, and Hip-Hop, creating a vibration that uplifts both body and spirit.
Six years ago, Charles Haynes, drummer and bandleader, survived a stroke. This September 11, 2025, he returns to the stage, not just performing but marking a milestone in his journey of resilience, community, and music — come be part of this powerful evening and show your support through the healing force of music.
The evening begins at 7PM with Afrobeat dance lessons, inviting everyone to reconnect with movement and joy.
At 8PM, the stage ignites with live music featuring a powerhouse lineup of artists bringing a performance rooted in rhythm, soul, and resilience.
This evening is activated in collaboration by community arts presenters Departure Arts and Ágora Cultural Architects, this is more than a concert, it’s a communal gathering that honors the strength of the creative spirit and the importance of wellness in sustaining it.
