We’re eagerly awaiting the Second Annual Chattanooga Jazz Fest, Sunday, October 25 at the Choo-Choo. This year, the Chattanooga Monday Nite Big Band will be prominently featured, and we’ll be getting a glimpse of their set tonight. They are quickly becoming one of our audience’s most beloved events, and for good reason! Monday Nite Big Band has been playing big band jazz music in Chattanooga for over 40 years. Founded by pianist and band leader Paul Lohorn and saxophonist Ed Leamon, the group features a wide variety of more than eighteen Chattanooga area professional musicians playing on one stage, plus the occasional guest vocalist.
All Ages welcome.
This is a general admission event.
Doors open at 7pm, music around 7:30 with Intermission.
