In partnership with the Zell Family Foundation and Chicago Public Library
Join us on May 29th at 6 PM for an evening of celebration and anticipation as we announce Chicago’s next Youth Poet Laureate!
This special event will feature performances from our Top 5 Youth Poet Laureate Finalists plus live music and surprise performances.
6–7 PM: Happy Hour
Enjoy a complimentary cocktail and hors d'oeuvres hour — come early and mingle!
7–9pm PM: Program
Settle in for a powerful lineup of performances that honor the voice, power, and promise of Chicago’s youth, and the unveiling of the 2025 Chicago Youth Poet Laureate.
Tickets are free, but we welcome donations at the event to support our work.
