Description

Pies aren’t as tricky as you think, and our recipe for a classic chicken pot pie will become a family favorite in no time. We will mix the all-butter crust, make the filling, roll out the crust, then shape and bake our personal pot pies. Each person will make 3 personal sized pot pies to take home and we’ll have some ready to serve for dinner as well. We’ll talk about the tools needed to bake pies, buying great ingredients, how to troubleshoot pie problems, and discuss variations for our base recipe.

Each ticket includes

  • Hands-on instruction from professional chefs
  • 2 drinks: beer & wine — we offer a seasonally rotating selection of wines from small producers as well as local craft beer. Additional drinks will be available for purchase.
  • A booklet of recipes from class
  • All the food you cook and enjoy during class, plus any leftovers to take home.

With advanced notice, this class can accommodate those who are vegetarian. However, if you're coming in a pair, both people at your station will need to make the vegetarian version. Please note that you need to request this alternative in advance (on your registration, at least 2 weeks prior to class).
