For children ages 8-12 with accompanying parent. Maximum three children per parent.

Explore the woods in the company of your child and likeminded families while you learn valuable skills.

The course covers:

  • Aiming.
  • Situational awareness.
  • Knife safety.
  • Building a water filter from natural materials.
  • Discussion and identification of food sources.
  • Fire starting.

Making fire is an important team building exercise for children to work together to collect firewood and brush, build a series of fires.  Kids are encouraged to discuss and identify what works best and work together.

Survival skills are valuable on their own and make the perfect platform to encourage confidence and self-reliance all the while supporting teamwork, forging bonds between parent and child, and between fellow students.

Wrap up with juice, a bonfire, and s’mores kit.
