Description

Join singers from across Durham for an evening of choral classics ranging from Whitacre to Schubert, Parry to Poulenc plus some composers you may never have heard of! Northern Consort join forces with Durham Cathedral Young Singers, the Neville’s Cross Community Choir and the Choral Scholars of Durham Cathedral in the wonderful acoustic of St Cuthbert’s Chapel at Ushaw Historic House. As well as performing repertoire on their own, the choirs will join forces to make a massed choir, singing Parry’s grand anthem Hear My Words Ye People. This will be an evening not to be missed!
