Description

Sparring songwriters, BC’s SongStage alumni, Chris Ronald and Alberta’s CFMA award winner John Wort Hannam duke it out song for song on the Bez stage. They will be joined by multi-instrumentalist John Ellis.

Chris Ronald

Since emigrating from his native England in 2002, Chris Ronald has earned a place as one of Canada’s finest singer-songwriters creating and performing Contemporary Folk music. Ronald's stand-out signature sound is steeped in his British background, poetic lyrics, and a buttery fusion of Roots and Americana music.

John Wort Hannam

In 2001, roots/folk musician John Wort Hannam quit his teaching job and spent 10 months depleting his savings while sat at his kitchen table, wearing a lucky hat, writing his first ten songs. Eighteen years later, with a few feathers in that lucky hat that include a JUNO nomination and a Canadian Folk Music Award for Best Album of the Year, he’s got a new energy fueled by a new band, a new sound, and a ton of new songs.

Our staff are here to equip you in whatever style you want to pursue whether it's ballet, hiphop, tap, jazz, contemporary, ballroom or break. Try a few or focus on a couple, it's your choice! AND are now highlighting ADULT CLASSES (recitals are optional and there’s no dress codes). We’ve now added acting classes, songwriting classes and Gospel choir to our list of offerings!
