Join us for a hands-on fashion workshop and explore fashion as a designer, led by teaching artist Jayla Slater!

Explore self expression through design - learn about pattern making, sewing patterns, and various techniques used to make beautiful designs, like those found in Christian Siriano: People are People. 

Jayla Slater is a Memphis based fashion designer focused on technical design. Jayla teaches pattern making at the University of Memphis when she is not working on a project for a client. You can also find her at TONE Memphis managing the gallery. In her personal practice she likes to create looks for the women ready to take on the world.

 

Christian Siriano: People Are People is organized by the SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film, Atlanta.
