Description

Christina Kaminis hits the mainstage at the Broadside with her mix of styles and varied palette of sound.  This is an all ages, free show.  So if you are looking for something to do on a beautiful spring evening in New Orleans, this is the place.  Show 6:30pm

Cristina Kaminis is a Mexican/American singer currently living in New Orleans vía NYC. 

Her musical style ranges in genre and languages with hints of Mexican ranchera llanto to Blues, American Jazz Standards, French chansons as well as Brazilian sounds and rhythms (most of the band hails from Brazil).  

Hoping to do away with the idea of having to stick to one sound, she hopes to break free from fitting in any pigeonhole and experimenting with several styles while developing her own as honestly as possible. The idea is to use your versatility. Play with varying sounds and styles as you would with a box of watercolors. Use them all and see what happens…

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
  • We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  • Our outdoor space has a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. If you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
