Get a head start on Christmas by adding a sweet touch to your tree with this Fused Glass Gingerbread House Ornament Workshop! In this festive beginner-friendly class, you’ll create two fused glass gingerbread house ornaments using a precut base and colorful glass embellishments. Learn how to nip and arrange decorative glass pieces to design your own charming gingerbread cottage, complete with candy-inspired murine, enamel-painted snowcaps, and glass gumdrops.
Choose from holiday-themed shapes like candy canes, snowmen, gifts, and gingerbread men to make each house truly unique. All materials and step-by-step instruction are included — no experience needed! Ornaments will be kiln fused by the instructor and ready for pickup within two weeks. A perfect holiday project for yourself or handmade gift-giving!
Here are some details to keep in mind when signing up.
- Fused glass projects require kiln firing time and will take about 1-2 weeks to be ready for pickup.
- Attendees must be at least 18 years of age, or 15 if participating with a parent or legal guardian.
- Proper attire is required for all class participants. You will need to wear closed toe shoes, socks and long pants (below knee capris are acceptable).
- Protective eyewear will be provided, but feel free to bring your own safety goggles if you prefer.
- Glass workshops require students to sign a waiver acknowledging and assuming the risks of working with glass. Each glass class will begin with a review of the safety rules and proper glass cutting and handling techniques.
- Our studio is located on the 2nd floor with stair only access. (It's the white concrete building next to H & H Auto Parts!)
- There is on and off-street parking with reserved spaces on the side of our building.
Refund policy: We require a 48-hour (2-day) cancellation notice in order to issue a refund. If you do not cancel at least 48-hours in advance, no refund will be issued.
