A National Historic Landmark, Stratford Hall is home to the Lees of Virginia and is located in the Northern Neck of Virginia. Nestled along the Potomac River, Stratford Hall’s nearly 2,000 acres come to life through the presentation and preservation of the 18th-century Great House, vibrant gardens, natural trails revealing breathtaking river views, and the stories of all who lived here.
Join us for the annual open house Christmastide celebration at Stratford Hall. Come see the Great House decorated in holiday spirit, listen to colonial music by Ampersand, and step into the historic kitchen for a cooking demonstration with interpreter Dontavius Williams. Snap a selfie in front of the 12-foot Christmas tree in the Great Hall and enjoy ginger cookies and hot apple cider!
