An evening of authentic musical storytelling awaits as Christopher Atkins and Sofia Miller take the stage at Red Bird Brewing in Kelowna.
Christopher Atkins, hailing from Victoria, British Columbia, brings an honest and poetic approach to songwriting, deeply influenced by the 60s folk tradition. His latest album, "Another Year," is a heartfelt exploration of personal growth, changing seasons, and the intricacies of relationships. Christopher’s reflective songs are rich with life-affirming nostalgia and vivid everyday imagery, inviting listeners to pause and appreciate the beauty in the small details of life.
Sharing the stage is Sofia Miller, an independent solo artist and producer also based in Victoria. Her debut full-length album, "Prologue," recorded in Montreal with producer Guillaume Guilbault, captures the emotional journey of transitioning from the East to the West of Canada. Sofia’s music is a profound reflection on the growing pains and realizations of early adulthood, expressed through creative guitar licks and her soft, airy falsetto. This evening promises to be an inspiring showcase of two distinct yet complementary musical talents.
