Description

Explore the Museum and the exhibition “I’ll Have What She’s Having”: The Jewish Deli after hours. Learn DC’s deli history with gallery talks from Ted Merwyn, author of, Pastrami on Rye: An Overstuffed History of the Jewish Deli, Nycci Nellis, DC’s food and hospitality expert, and Michaele Weissman, author of, The Rye Bread Marriage. Make your own pickling seasoning, discover fun facts about your favorite deli dishes, enjoy a pickleback shot, and soup shooters from Prescription Chicken, and dance along to beats from the golden age of delis! Plus, a cash bar and food for purchase. Drop in for a delectable evening! Tickets include admission to all exhibitions. Must be 21 or older to attend and present a valid ID at the door.
