CLASSIC PURPLE – TORONTO’S ULTIMATE DEEP PURPLE TRIBUTE BAND

Comprised of five professional musicians and Deep Purple fans, Classic Purple offers you a Deep Purple experience like no other. Neil Culbert (Thunderboogie) provides the incredible, note perfect vocals. Brenden Rodgers is on blazing lead guitar. Joel Visentin (The Lizards) is a jazz influenced keyboard wizard with great vocals too. The powerful rhythm section consists of Joey Slegtenhorst (Mother Leads) on bass and Ilios Steryannis on drums.

Classic Purple will be storming through two sets of Deep Purple classics including Highway Star, Space Trucking, Child In Time and Smoke on the Water. Close your eyes and you will feel like you are at the Festival Hall in Osaka, Japan in August of 1972!

TWEED & COMPANY Theatre is a registered charity, and is a creator and producer of Original Canadian Musical Theatre, as well as quality professional grassroots regional theatre. The company has been active since the fall of 2009, and has produced several large scale original Canadian musicals, as well as countless other Canadian productions. Tweed & Company is based in Hastings County, and owns and operates The Marble Arts Centre, as well as operating the Bancroft Village Playhouse, and the Tweed & Company Outdoor Stage.
