Farm Visit at Clayton Valley Farms
We offer two experiences:
1) Farm Visit - General Admission
2) Animal Meet & Greet
Come experience interactive farm animal visits, available by reservation only. A fun and memorable experience for all ages—book your date and time and come spend the day with us!
All visitors aged 2 and over, including accompanying adults, require a full price ticket. Children under 2 enter free with a paying adult.
Important Arrival Information
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time to allow time for parking and check-in. Check-in takes place at the Farmstand.
Parking: Please park near the Farmstand. If that area is full, overflow parking is available past the brown and white barn.
If you purchased the Meet & Greet Experience:
Our Meet & Greet experiences (requires a Meet & Greet ticket) begin promptly at the scheduled time. Guests who arrive late may miss special activities and close-up interactions with our Highland cows and other farm animals.
Because the animals follow a scheduled routine and our tours run on a set timeline, we are unable to delay the experience for late arrivals. The first few minutes of the experience are some of the most interactive, so please plan to arrive early and ready to begin on time.

Do you offer farm visits?
Yes! Clayton Valley Farms offers two options:
1) Farm Visit is a scheduled visit where guests experience the farm in a relaxed, outdoor setting.
2) Animal Meet & Greetvisitors get a guided tour and meet some of the animals.

Do I need a reservation to visit the farm?
Yes. Farm visits are by reservation only to ensure a great experience for our guests and animals.
What is included in a Fram Visit?
Guests enjoy general admission access to the farm on their visit.
To experience the animals select the Animal Meet & Greet option when purchasing tickets.
What kind of animals will we get to interact with? Are there babies?
Yes! Clayton Valley Farms is home to a variety of friendly farm animals, and there are often babies on the farm depending on the season.
Animal interactions may vary from day to day based on each animal's temperament, feeding schedule, health, and comfort level. The well-being of our animals always comes first, so not every animal will be available for hands-on interaction during every visit.
Typically, guests have opportunities to meet and interact with our Babydoll sheep, alpacas, and Highland cows. On some days, our pigs may also be available for visits. We also have chickens, rabbits, and other farm animals that you can see throughout the property.
Every visit is a little different, which makes each experience at Clayton Valley Farms unique!
How long is a farm visit?
A typical farm visit lasts between 1 - 2 hours and may be spent at your leisure, exploring the different areas of the farm, including the sandbox and the commercial play structures.
Are farm visits kid-friendly?
Yes. Farm visits are family-friendly. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Are animals guaranteed during farm visits?
Animals are a core part of the farm experience. An optional meet-and-greet with the animals is available for an additional $20 per person; children under two are free. Specific animals and interaction levels may vary based on the day, weather, and animal needs.
Are food and drinks available during farm visits?
Yes. Our Farmstand is open during select hours and offers kid- and family-friendly snacks, along with locally made and baked goods. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Selection may vary by day and season.
What should we wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for a working farm. The farm can be dusty or muddy depending on conditions.
What happens if it rains?
Farm visits may be rescheduled due to weather. Tents or covered areas are not provided.
Is parking available?
Yes, on-site parking is available for farm visit guests.
Are farm visits private?
Some farm visits may be shared experiences. Private visits may be available upon request.
How do I book a farm visit?
Farm visits can be booked through the Clayton Valley Farms website. Availability is limited.
Can I bring my pet to the farm?
Unfortunately being a working farm with many animals, outside pets are not allowed.
