Description

Join your colleagues and friends of Clean AIRE NC  for a kayak trip on the South Fork River in Cramerton, NC with Catawba Riverkeeper! Policy Manager Ryan Cater and Policy Coordinator Harry Warren will lead this outing that will include instruction on the basics of kayaking and water safety along with information about the the South Fork River and overall Catawba-Wateree River Basin and activities of Catawba Riverkeeper to protect, preserve and restore our region's precious water system!

Thursday, July 13: 2-4pm

Meeting Location - Confluence, 117 Center Street, Cramerton, NC 

Public parking is available around Confluence. 

 

Outing Includes: 

2-hour lesson and guided paddle trip 

Single or tandem sit-on-top kayak

Paddle

Life vest

Outing kayak guides

 

 

Weather Policy: 

Our policy is to host this program rain or shine EXCEPT in the case of severe rain, thunderstorms or lightning in the area as well as dangerous water level. If we have to cancel, we will provide a refund to all ticketed guests. We will do our best to notify guests of cancellations at least 2 hours in advance via email and phone call.
