Description
Clean the Block is a monthly community cleanup initiative committed to restoring pride and cleanliness in Houston neighborhoods, especially Sunnyside. Our cleanups take place from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, where volunteers come together to remove illegal dumping, trash, and debris from streets, sidewalks, and vacant lots.
We provide everything needed to make an impact—trash cans, trash bags, gloves, tools, and equipment—and we haul all collected waste to the nearest waste management center. Our mission is to inspire change through action, proving that when we take care of our blocks, we uplift our entire community—one cleanup at a time.
