  • What:  Short walk to help collect data for a population of the CNHP rare plant Longflower cat’s-eye (Oreocarya longiflora).  Two-mile RT, some ups and downs.  We will be staying on marked trails.

  • When:  Friday, May 29;  8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

  • Where:  Meet Holly and Gerold at the Opal Hill/Devils Canyon trailhead kiosk, off Kingsview Road near Fruita.

  • What to bring:  Water, hat, binoculars (optional, to help count O. longiflora individuals not located next to the trail).
