CNTR/CTY & The Tobin Center Partner to Discuss Art Education in San Antonio

CNTR/CTY is partnering with the Tobin Center to present Cocktails & Conversation, an exploration of the role arts education plays in shaping San Antonio's future. This event will bring together educators, artists, nonprofit leaders, and community advocates to discuss how access to the arts impacts student success, workforce development, creativity, and quality of life across our city.

• The State of Arts Education in San Antonio: Examining the current landscape of arts education, opportunities for students, and the organizations working to expand access across our community.
   

• The Impact of Arts Education Beyond the Classroom: Exploring how arts education supports creativity, critical thinking, communication skills, and personal development that benefit students throughout their lives.
   

• Access & Opportunity: Discussing barriers to participation and how schools, nonprofits, cultural institutions, and community partners can work together to ensure more students have access to meaningful arts experiences.
   

• Building San Antonio's Creative Future: A conversation about how investment in arts education strengthens our talent pipeline, supports the creative economy, and contributes to a more vibrant and connected city.
