Description
Coffee, Candles and Coos!
Event Overview
Step into the warmth and charm of Agape Farm of Watha for one of our signature events, Coffee, Candles and Coos! This experience invites guests to enjoy a relaxing morning in the country. The event will begin with coffee and muffins that are sure to delight every palate. Whether you are a returning farm friend or visiting for the first time, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere and the promise of memorable moments.
Our guests will enjoy a hands-on candle-making workshop, led by Carin Wood of True North Homestead. Carin will provide step-by-step instruction as guests learn to blend scents and pour wax, crafting their own personalized candle. Throughout the workshop, she will share tips about choosing fragrances and caring for your candles, making this an informative and creative experience. Everyone will leave with a beautiful, scented candle to take home—an aromatic reminder of your visit to Agape Farm.
Meet the Highland Coos
After the candle-making session, our guests will be guided out to the pasture to meet our beloved Highland cows. This is an extraordinary opportunity to meet our Highlands, each with their own story and personality. You’ll be introduced to Scotty, our majestic and wise resident bull whose age and gentle nature make him a favorite among visitors. Our youngest who is every bit as sweet as her name, Honey will be eager to see you as well as our middle child (I mean, coo) who is our resident diva! From the oldest to the youngest, our Highland “coos” are a joy to observe. Guests will learn about the unique characteristics of the breed, their history, how they came to be known as "hairy coos". Our staff will share insights into their daily routines, diet, and the special bonds that exist within the herd. You are encouraged to ask questions and snap photos while enjoying up-close encounters with these remarkable animals.
Coffee, Candles and Coos offers a blend of delicious flavors, creative activity, and farm life, making it a perfect outing for friends, Moms and Daughters or anyone seeking a touch of countryside tranquility and inspiration.
Your ticket purchase covers coffee + muffins, candle supplies, instruction and time with our adorable Highland cows.
