🎶 Sing Out at Ushaw! 🎶
Step into the breathtaking beauty of Ushaw’s St Cuthbert’s Chapel and let your voice soar! Join singers from the Ushaw Chapel Choir and their Musical Director Mark Anyan for a one-day singing workshop on Saturday 21st September, 10am–3pm, and learn some of the most iconic choral favourites ever written, including:
✨ Handel’s magnificent Hallelujah Chorus
✨ The stirring How Great Thou Art
✨ John Williams’ moving Hymn to the Fallen
Under expert direction, you’ll spend the day immersed in glorious harmonies, uplifting music, and the joy of singing together.
At the end of the day, you can choose to:
🎤 Join us again to perform these pieces at our Last Night of the Proms celebration on Saturday 4th October with the brilliant Bearpark & Esh Colliery Brass Band – or
🎤 Simply enjoy the workshop as a stand-alone experience, even if you can’t make the performance.
Whether you’re a seasoned chorister or simply love to sing, this is a chance to share music, meet fellow singers, and enjoy a day in one of the North East’s most inspiring settings.
Entry to Come and Sign with Ushaw Chapel Choir is free with Membership or Day Pass.
