Description
When the world stopped on September 11, 2001, the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, opened its heart. As 38 planes carrying nearly 7,000 stranded passengers were unexpectedly diverted to their community, the people of Gander responded with extraordinary generosity, offering food, shelter, friendship, and hope. Based on the remarkable true story, Come From Away is an uplifting, award-winning musical that celebrates kindness, resilience, and the enduring power of human connection.
Featuring Theater Alaska company members Enrique Bravo and Flordelino Lagundino, as well as Zebediah Bodine, Annie Goodenough, Stacy Katasse, Joyce Parry-Moore, Patrick Moore, Chris Murray, Kelsey Riker, and Taylor Vidic. Directed by Nathaniel Claridad.
**Theater Alaska’s mission is to make professional theater accessible to all. Therefore, we are using a pay-as-you-want ticket structure for this performance. This allows our audiences to pay the price that they can afford. For example, for $55 you are paying the market value of the ticket; for $65 you are also helping those in our community attend the show who are unable to afford the full price. You’ll be able to choose smaller amounts, including $0 as we want to make sure cost is not a barrier to attending the show.
