Share Vancouver Stand-up Comedian Chris Griffin returns to Penticton for one night and two shows to film his debut standup special at the historic Dream Café on Saturday, March 4th. Griffin has signed on with US major comedy producer 800 Pound Gorilla to release the live recording later this year. Just this month, Griffin has opened for comedy superstar Mark Normand, Netflix and Ramy comedy icon Dave Merheje, and International comedy sensation Ismo. Penticton was hand selected by Chris Griffin due to the beautiful Dream Café venue and the amazing crowds that always come out to support the shows. The Vancouver based comedian has won Best Comedian on Tour at the Just For Laughs Vancouver awards and was the winner out of 96 competitors at the Yuk Yuk’s Vancouver Comedy Competition. Known for his high-energy, dynamic storytelling style, every show is its own party and you’re all invited to experience the ride – only one request, Fun People Only.
Hosting the show will be Kelowna’s own comedy renegade David Kopp. When he’s not on tour across Canada, he’s known for headlining shows all around the Okanagan.
