You are about to see the biggest comedy event in the Quad Cities this year!
ComedySportz World Championship 2025. Twenty-five teams from across the United States will be in the Quad Cities to compete for your laughs and the title of ComedySportz World Champion.
Championship matches take place July 9-12 at the Spotlight Theatre.
What is ComedySportz?
ComedySportz is a fast-paced, all-ages improvisational comedy show that uses audience suggestions in a highly competitive “game” between a red team and a blue team with a Referee to oversee it all. The teams compete for your point and your laughs.
Everything is made up on the spot: nothing is scripted, nothing is rehearsed – the players make up everything based upon suggestions from you, our loyal fans, resulting in non-stop laughs. At the end of the match one team wins but the audience is the ultimate winner when the "actletes" compete. There are seven to ten games per match, with the occasional Volunteer Player joining us on the field!
ComedySportz® Started in Milwaukee in 1984, and has been entertaining fans across the US and Europe for 40+ years, including right here in the Quad Cities starting in 1990.
A Comedy Convention
We are excited to welcome ComedySportz Worldwide players to bring their laughs to the Quad Cities.
During the week the players take workshops, but at night they take to the stage to battle it out and see which city is the Champion.
How to Tickets work?
- Buy a single night ticket and you can attend any and ALL of the three matches that night.
- 6:00-7:00 pm
- 7:30-8:30 pm
- 9:00 - 10:00 pm
- Buy a ComedySportz World Championship Pass to come to as many shows as you want, from Wednesday - Saturday!
