Description
We are hosting an outdoor gentle walking and cooking session for previous Community Cookery class participants.
Join us to celebrate the start of spring with a special event at our Clubhouse on the Downs. We'll whip up a delicious spring stew and handmade bread, while using rescued "surplus" veggies – a tasty and nourishing way to reduce food waste.
Whilst the stew is cooking, join us for a gentle, mindful walk and tour of the Waterhall Nature Reserve with Jo Wren from Grow and nurture yourself with the sights, sounds and smells of nature before returning to the Clubhouse for a warming lunch. Some gentle slopes and possible muddy paths involved so do dress accordingly.
It's a chance to explore this fascinating local project, enjoy some fresh air, and connect with others.
