Root To Rise Is a newly established non-profit with a mission to help bring people back to love by connecting with themselves, nature, and community.
Welcome to our Fall/Winter Hike Series, where we gather the second Sunday of each month to explore an area of Arizona in efforts to accomplish our mission and build awareness for our foundation.
Welcome to our THIRD hike of the series, located at South Mountain in Phoenix.
What you can expect by saying YES to this experience with us:
- Headphones provided
- Intentionally curated playlist provided through your headphones that will connect us together
- Qualified guidance through a microphone connected to your headphones from our leaders during your experience
- Kid Friendly-Pet Friendly-Soul Family Vibes
- Connection to self, nature, and community
- Sunset Dance Party (not required, could sit and observe)
Important Logistically Details:
- Hike is an easy to moderate challenge, mostly flat ground, with some elevation changes.
- Google/ Google Maps will take you directly to the parking lot (VISTA POINT- also known as THE BIG RAMADA), Apple Maps will make the location more difficult, highly suggest using google
- We are following a trail from a halfway point, total hike will be approx 1.5 miles.
- Hike will lead us up to a unique flat concrete dance floor where we will encourage you to move your body freely with the music, or sit and enjoy the sunset views overlooking the city
- There is plenty of parking
- We cap this event out at 40 people
