Root To Rise Is a newly established non-profit with a mission to help bring people back to love by connecting with themselves, nature, and community.
Welcome to our Hike Series, where we gather the second Sunday of each month to explore an area of Arizona in efforts of accomplishing our mission and build awareness for our foundation.
Welcome to our FOURTH hike of the series, located at Dream Draw Recreation Area in Phoenix, where will be hiking the 2.7 mile Coon Bluff Loop Trail, near Salt lake River.
What you can expect by saying YES to this experience with us:
- Headphones provided
- Intentionally curated playlist provided through your headphones that will connect us together
- Qualified guidance through a microphone connected to your headphones from our leaders during your experience
- Connection to self, nature, and community
- Sunset Dance Party (not required, could sit and observe)
Important Logistically Details:
- Hike is an easy to moderate 2.7 mile challenge, mostly flat ground, with some elevation change
- We cap this event out at 40 people
- Turn this experience into a River day, come a couple hours early and head over to the Phon D. Sutton Recreation Area to dip in the water or sunbath!
- No bathrooms at trail entrance, please use the Lower Salt River bathrooms or plan accordingly.
